Client: FS Logistics · Imports
A hardened environment for Siscomex registration
Work done by Marcos Reis, as a service provider, between 2023 and 2024, before iRon King was founded.
The challenge
FS Logistics works in imports and, to import, needed to be registered by Brazil’s Federal Revenue in Siscomex, the foreign trade system. To get there, the IT environment had to meet security criteria set out in the process, and employees’ work had to happen in a protected environment, with no room for problems.
Solution and results
The infrastructure was built from scratch. Servers running a hypervisor host the virtual machines; a domain controller and a file server organize identity and data; and a Next Generation Firewall with strict rules protects the whole structure. Each employee connects to their own hardened VM and works entirely on the inside.
-
Registration obtained
FS Logistics was registered in Siscomex by the Federal Revenue and cleared to import.
-
Criteria met
The security requirements of the process were met by the environment delivered.
-
Work stays inside
Employees work in the protected VMs, behind the firewall, not on their own computers.
